Originally built in 1990’s, Cocowalk was recently updated to reveal more expansive retail, dining and office space. A beloved icon for locals and tourists alike, the renovation wanted to capture the way people shop and dine and enjoy public spaces. The result is a project that not only responds to the local market but creates an experience more attuned to the Grove’s relaxed, Bohemian vibe.
Retaining its courtyard quality, the warm terracotta-clad complex has acquired a contemporary character welcoming to businesspeople and families alike.
Studio Mc+G Architecture collaborated with the development team of Federal Realty Investment Trust, the Comras Co. and Grass River Property in developing spaces for retailers and Restauranteurs including Botanico Gin, Ariete Hospitality Group, Salt & Straw and Blue Mercury.
